ACNW QuattroCross '15

Evergreen Speedway

About this event

QuattroCross 2015Sunday June 7th.

This autocross program is a an all-day event, limited to 50 cars, for just $70 which includes lunch.  It is offered by Audi Club Northwest (ACNW) for the third year at the Monroe Fairgrounds/Evergreen Speedway with gates opening at 8:00am and the event running until 4:30pm.

This challenging full Autocross utilizes portions of the banked turns and figure-8 course at Evergreen Speedway creating a truly unique experience.  Audi-brand cars are not required.  Membership is required.  Helmets are required.  No assigned instructors will be available at this event but instructors will be available as needed.

Get lots of runs!  Invite your friends to come out to watch.  Fun!

Autocross is a wonderful way to learn car control and enjoy operating your car near it's limits. This form of motorsport places strong emphasis on car handling and driver skill rather than high speeds or horsepower.  Autocrosses are not high speed events so wear and tear on your car is not as much of an issue as it can be for our full on lapping schools.  The course uses cones to mark corners that come very rapidly to the driver.  Drivers are timed one at a time from a standing start through the exit from the course, typically about one minute in total.  The timing equipment permits more than one car to be underway so the groups cycle quickly.

Most people that attend an autocross for the first time have never attempted anything like it.  Many of them come back again and again because it's just so much fun.  Autocross experience is good for driver skill development and to learn about how you and your car work together for a safer experience on the streets and freeways.

Come out to meet us.  Talk to other club members about the full calendar of Driver Education, Lapping, Tours, and social events that are part of the Audi Club Northwest experience.  Feel free to invite friends and co-workers to this event.  Admission is free to the facility, but everyone must sign the waiver when entering.  You may be able to arrange rides with designated instructors to experience first hand what an autocross day is all about.

Please see Event Requirements in the next screens for further details.  Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs, SAVs), trucks and other high-center vehicles are not permitted. Contact your Event Master for clarification if you are unsure about whether your vehicle qualifies.
