Whether you have yet to set tires on a track or want to better your performance driving skills, our ASN-approved curriculum is designed to give you the tools to master every corner. During these sessions, the only competition you have is you. Area 27 is setting a new standard for private track education, we provide motorsport enthusiasts with performance driving skills on a world-class circuit – even better? These courses are available to the public. Head coach Kees Nierop and our team of professionals will teach you how to safely explore the limits of your vehicle.

Academy 27 is proud to partner with General Motors to introduce the Camaro Driving Academy. This 2.5 day course improves upon our previous 2.5 Day Academy and now offers Chevrolet Camaro 1LE school track cars. Participants now have the choice of renting one of our Camaro 1LE track cars, or bringing their own vehicle to use in the course. Please note, for the 2020 season, we will be using the the Camaro school cars exclusively; participants will no longer be able to use their own vehicles. Our October 2019 courses will be the last opportunity for drivers to use their own vehicles in the 2.5 day course.

Course Highlights:

• Day 1: 1/2 Day - classroom session
• Day 2: Full Day - drivers will be ready to take in the circuit applying several performance techniques including cornering phases and weight transfer
• Day 3: Full Day - drivers will be taking full advantage of open sessions with one-on-one feedback from each of our instructors with comprehensive performance evaluations
• Academy instructors provide ASN/FIA certified curriculum 
• 2-hour theory with supplemental booklet
• daily lunch & dinner after Day 1
• Up to 18 students with Chevrolet provided Camaro 1LE track cars
• Review of Camaro 1LE performance features including seating position
• Challenging corner set-up, entry, and exit phases
• Controlled short-course lapping
• Controlled lapping with one-on-one coaches critique on full circuit
• Open lapping with one-on-one coaches critique on full circuit
• Graduation certificate of completion 

Pricing:

• Base Course Rate (using personal vehicle): CA$2795 +GST
• Course Rate including Camaro 1LE rental: CA$3995 +GST * 
  • *$2,000 CAD damage deposit required on a Camaro rental for the 2.5-Day program
  • *Camaro rental includes 2-days of track use only and fuel for Camaro 
  • *Drivers must have prior experience driving manual transmission
