The 48th CSRG Season Finale and Awards Dinner, October 30-November 1, 2015, at

Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows, CA.

Join us for the best party weekend of the 2015 Vintage racing season: our 48th Season Finale race weekend at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, CA,  supporting the Glenn Clinic Foundation, which provides emergency medical support for the track as well as the rest of Glenn County. Please make a contribution to this essential service in the space provided on the entry form. Every $10 helps the Clinic maintain and improve its medical capabilities.

We're running on the 3 mile, traditional Thunderhill course. Thunderhill Raceway Park is a fast, technical driver’s track with an excellent surface, plenty of run-off, and outstanding amenities, including covered paddock space, plenty of electric power in the paddock, a comfortable lounge with WiFi, and an enclosed third-floor Tower Viewing Area with elevator service.

All CSRG eligible cars are welcome

Thunderhill is a sound-control track, with a maximum of 103db sound allowed, so fit mufflers if in doubt.

Willows is a historically significant agricultural town and County Seat, with some interesting architecture and good quality overnight accommodations in a wide price range. While there is perhaps a shortage of four-star restaurants, there are some good eateries within fifteen miles of town, and the catered CSRG Saturday dinner is always very good. Some 40 minutes away is the quite sophisticated University Town of Chico, which has great shopping and food.

Schedule:

This is an Open Admission Event: no tickets required, only signing the gate waiver, so bring a cheering gallery.

Thursday: Paddock access at 5 pm. Tech Inspection 5 pm to dusk. 

Friday features afternoon Test & Tune by Run Group.

Saturday is Morning Practice, a Qualifying Race and an afternoon Feature Race, all by Run Group, followed by the ever-popular CSRG Awards Dinner for all entrants, their guests, track workers and volunteers, again held at the Willows Veterans Memorial Hall. Transportation from and back to the track for those staying at the track will be arranged.

Sunday, a morning warm-up followed by a day's racing. Mechanical Picnic both Saturday and Sunday, so you can exchange cars, or give rides to anyone sixteen or older.

Fees: You must be a Member of CSRG to enter this racing event.  

If you have not registered for this year's CSRG Full Racing Membership and paid $150 dues, you must pay the Single-event Membership dues of $75.
