Several of us have been interested in spending "off-season" time with other coaches to exchange ideas and techniques that other coaches are using to help students be successful at high performance driving events.

Why would you want to join us?

Social gathering – spend time with friends off season

  • I have met some of my best friends at HPD events.

A majority of us teach for multiple organizations.  There is a significant commonality between the different organizations but ... are there some good ideas or different perspectives that you can benefit from?

  • You might like to be aware of a club's unique methodologies, even if you don't coach with them
  • You can exchange ideas and techniques with other coaches
  • Add some new “tools” to your tool box
  • Dust off some of your previous approaches

Review & Promote safety topics

  • ~50% of our coaches from the previous symposiums have “gone off the track” at least once in the past 5 years, some have hit guardrails
  • What can we do to decrease these incidents

Our past attendees have been Track Operations Managers, Chief Instructors, Ast. Chiefs, Sr coaches, and coaches.  Several provide class room instruction to students.

We don't have all of the answers and that is why we are inviting you to this symposium.  We want to learn more.

What is a Symposium?

  1. A meeting or conference for discussion of a topic, especially one in which the participants from the audience can make presentations.
  2. A collection of opinions expressed or articles contributed by several persons on a given subject or topic.
  3. A meeting or conference for the discussion of some subject, especially a meeting at which several speakers discuss a topic before an audience.

As you register, consider thinking about presenting a topic that others might be interested in.  You can spend 10 minutes or 30 minutes.

  • What is important to you?  Tell us!

We ask that attendees have experience coaching students at High Performance Driving events.

Or. . . if you are considering becoming an Motorsports coach, PLEASE join us.  This is a great event to meet coaches/instructors and learn more about what we care about.

There is a 30 person limit.  There will be a "wait list" and we will try to accommodate everyone.

And, if you are interested, we have access to a great deal for a room rate.  Around $70 plus taxes.
