THERE IS NO ONSITE REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT



 

Driving up hill at speed is the most fun you can have in a car. We have classes from unmodified cars to full race and formula cars. Have some fun and join us on this 3 mile adventure on a private road.

Please note, we will be running the traditional finish course.

The entry fee is $170.  If you are not already a member of our club or a sister club, you will need to add a membership as part of the registration process ($20, good for all of 2021).
If this is your first hillclimb ever (not just Ascutney), you are eligible for a $25 discount on registration!

Please note the following important SCCNH guidlines for this event due to COVID-19:

  • The event will be capped to 55 participants (including mail in registrations).
  • We will be following VT guidelines for social distancing.
  • Masks are mandatory anytime you are within 6 feet of another person
    • This includes when working, at the driver’s meetings, awards ceremonies, etc.
    • Social distancing will be encouraged at all times - including at work stations.
  • Please be courteous to stores in town as well by wearing a mask!

Covid Compliance Plan and Weekend Info as submitted to VT State Parks:

General:

  • This event is limited to registered racers, crew and workers. No spectators allowed.
  • Event catering will not be present. Food will be carry in / carry out, with the exception of premade bag lunches supplied to workers. (see workers)  
  • Participants will maintain 6 foot social distancing throughout the park. Masks will be required whenever social distancing is not possible and whenever gathering in common areas such Oak Lean-to, Tech, Grid, Start/Finish. (ie: check in, driver and worker meetings etc.)
  • Bathroom facilities will be limited and participants will be masked when using the facilities or waiting in line.   
  • Masks must be worn when in the proximity of Rangers, staff and employees of Ascutney State Park.    
  • Hand Sanitizer will be available and encouraged throughout the event. 
  • Campsites: Masks are not required if campsite is limited to immediate families. Shared campsites require social distancing or masks as in common areas.
  • Any attendees from outside Vermont are reminded of and must comply with the Vermont Visitor Guidelines. They can be found at  Visitors to Vermont | Vermont Department of Health (healthvermont.gov)

Workers:

  • Worker meeting will be held at Oak Lean-to. Masks required.  
  • Workers will wear Masks to worker meeting and practice, 6 foot, social distancing at checkpoints unless weather requires a closer proximity (under a canopy) in which case masks will be required.
  • Workers will be encouraged to use their own transportation to and from checkpoints whenever possible to limit the number of workers requiring common transportation. Masks required.  
  • Hand Sanitizer will be available at Worker meeting, control, timing and all checkpoints.
  • Commercially purchased, premade lunches will be supplied for all checkpoint workers, control & timing volunteers. Distribution will take place at the start line as workers come off the hill and handled in such a way as to eliminate lines.  Masks required at pickup. 

Drivers:

  • Tech will be limited to drivers only and Masks are required.
  • Drivers meeting will be held in the usual location and Masks are required.
  • There will be only one person in the car for both Timed and Fam runs. (NO 2 person Fams) Rally class has both Driver and Navigator in the car for Timed runs and Fam runs. Masks will be required.   

IMPORTANT:

Anyone who does not follow these guidelines will be asked to leave the park and this event. Driver fees will not be refunded. If you are not going to comply, if you are not going to wear a mask for any reason DO NOT COME TO THE EVENT. We all appreciate the opportunity to hold this event and use this facility. We continue to be hopeful that everything can return to normal very soon.

  • Friday 5PM - Tech Inspection
  • Friday 5:30PM - Rookie orientation, mandatory for all rookies
  • Saturday 7:30AM Workers meetings
  • Saturday 7:45AM Drivers meeting
  • Sunday 7:30AM - Workers meeting
  • Sunday 7:45AM - Drivers meeting
  • Sunday 4-5PM - normal finish time
