*Performance Center capacity has now been increased to 80 attendees!*
Our event at the BMW Performance Center West will include:
- Lead-follow track laps in M cars around the exciting Desert Palm Course circuit.
- Skid pad rat race around a slick skidpad
- Timed autocross
- Down and back drag race
- Cars may include M2C, X3M, M340i, M5 and possibly M850i
Extra precautions will be taken to keep all attendees safe during the COVID-19 conditions. To comply with Riverside County guidelines, we are limited to 40 participants (instead of 100), and the lunch and Drivers Meeting will be held outdoors with social distancing. Face coverings must be worn while inside the Performance Center and inside cars. Co-driver pairings are highly recommended to be arranged in advance with people who know each other. The staff will be sanitizing both cars and the facility between events throughout the day, and hand sanitizing stations will be available. Any registered participant who has symptoms will be unable to participate. If you feel ill up to a week ahead of the event, please email the Registrar immediately and we will attempt to fill your spot with someone from the waiting list.
The event will start at noon with lunch at the Performance Center. We will have the track from 1:00-4:45 of fun before heading home.
Event requirements
The event is open to all BMW CCA members or associate members who are over 18 years old with a valid drivers license. Previous experience is not required - beginners are welcome.
