About this event
CSRG's Springtime in Willows
This event will be held on Thunderhill's 3-mile East course, and will include a Run Group for Series 1 Miatas, to see whether it is time to let this 25 year old SCCA Spec class enjoy the pleasures of CSRG Vintage Racing.
The provisional program consists of Friday afternoon practice sessions, at least 30 minutes of practice on Saturday morning; a half-hour Mechanical picnic each day; a 30 minute qualifying race by Run Group Saturday afternoon; a paddock party Saturday night, featuring Jim Thompson's usual creative and delicious finger food; then a morning warm-up and a 30 minute race by Run Group on Sunday.
Thunderhill is a sound-control track, with a maximum of 103db sound allowed, so fit mufflers if in doubt.
Fees: CSRG requires all drivers be either a Full Racing Member of CSRG, or a Single-event Member. Our friends from other racing organizations may choose the Single-event Membership for $75, but we encourage you to consider joining CSRG as a Full Racing Member ($150/yr) and enjoy the full benefits of membership throughout the year. Full Racing Members of CSRG who haven't renewed their membership must renew at <csrg.motorsportsreg.com> before their race entry is processed.
