CKRC offers several types of Annual Membership:
Junior Racing Membership $350
Senior Racing Membership $400
3rd or more family member membership $175
All of these include the Track Pass Practice Membership
Kid Kart Membership $300
Track Pass Practice Membership $300
Single Refundable Volunteer Fee $550
(mandatory - paid by Post dated cheque for October 15, 2017)
Family(2 or more) Refundable Volunteer Fee $750
(mandatory- paid by Post dated cheque for October 15, 2017)
Refundable Volunteer Fee (RVF) is worked off at CKRC approved work parties, Try-A-Kart (10hrs), Test & Tune Supervising (6hrs), Trade shows or other approved projects at the rate of $15/hr. Hours can be completed by you, spouse, offspring, friends or relatives. A record of the hours worked and submitted to the club manager can be accessed in your logbook on this site.
Key Membership $25
(Key Membership can only be purchased with a Junior Membership. Member must be above age 18. If not, then a parent or guardian must purchase a Key Membership to assume liability for holding the key. Member must also successfully complete T&T school)
Event requirements
The Calgary Kart Racing Club is open to Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls of all ages.
Included with your CKRC Membership:
- Voting Privileges in the CKRC as registered with Service Alberta under the Societies Act. This occurs at scheduled club meetings that review current issues related to club administration, regulations and North Star Raceway operations.
- Unlimited access to North Star Raceway for practice during operating hours (Track Practice Pass Members and Kid Kart Members do not hold a key and are limited to Test & Tune Sessions run by other club members)
- Complimentary Rookie School.
- Club membership card if needed for races outside Alberta
- Club chassis tag for track access
* Kart racers living in Alberta (South of Red Deer) must purchase either an annual CKRC Racing Membership or a CKRC Day Membership to be able to participate in any on-track activities.
