About this event
Join us for club racing at the challenging Waterford Hills Road Course!
This weekend at Waterford Hills will be a special feature weekend for Improved Touring Racers with the hosting of our second annual "Improved Touring Invitational."
For this weekend, all I.T. entrants will be allowed to enter at the WHRRI member cost ($205). In addition to the normal allotment of races, I.T. entrants will ALSO be given the opportunity to participate in a special I.T. only feature.
On the Saturday of this race weekend, there will be a special 10 lap feature race exclusively for I.T. cars. All I.T. C,B,A,S,R, & 7 (sorry, no ITE) classified cars are welcome to participate. Cars eligible for dual classes per SCCA/WHRRI GCR (I.E. Spec Miata & Spec Neon) are permitted even if they do not register in I.T. for the weekend.
The all I.T. feature race will be run after worker break on Saturday. The race will NOT count for WHRRI points and a limit of 30 starters will be set for the feature race. Grid position for the race will be determined by best time from morning qualifying.
Trophies will be awarded after the race to the overall winner and the ITC winner. Trophies are being donated by Team Effort Motorsports and built by Dunn’s welding.
Waterford Hills Road Racing facilities are located on the grounds of the Oakland County Sportsmen's Club, 4770 Waterford Road, Clarkston, MI 48346.
