On SUNDAY, April 24, we will be departing Athens in the late morning for a quick run up the back roads to Milky Way Farm near Pulaski, Tennessee. Milky Way Farm is the 1930s home of Frank C. Mars—founder of the Mar-O-Bar Company.
We will start out with a private 3-course lunch in the grand hall at the 28’ long table that seats 40 people. Afterwards, we will enjoy a scenic tour of the current 1500 acres of the original 2805 acre horse and sheep farm via hay ride. The hay ride includes visits to the show barn with animals, the wedding chandelier barn, many of the stone houses on the property as well as a scenic ride throughout this amazing property. Our tour will conclude with a return back to the manor house with visitation and guided tour of the fully furnished Tudor Mansion. This is a rare, so do not miss opportunity for a private group tour of this tremendous facility. The last time our club visited was in September 2004.
