The track is HOT! Make sure to pack sunscreen for this no timed runs Driver Education event at High Plains Raceway in Byers, Colorado. Limited numbers and paid corner workers mean lots of track time to hone your driving skills.
Noon-time track tours will be offered, with charitable donations going to Crayons to Calculators. Crayons to Calculators is a school supply drive created to ensure that all students start school with the supplies that they need to succeed! Registration opens at 7:00 AM Saturday and Sunday
Mandatory all drivers’ meeting at 8:00 AM,(each day) first time drivers' meeting following the drivers' meeting. (each day)
Location: High Plains Raceway, 17 miles east of Byers on US-36 (Deer Trail)

Either day: Driver: $180
Co-driver $155 (must be driving the same car)
Both days: Driver $260
Co-driver $235 (must be driving the same car)

Event requirements
National PCA membership number and membership status will be verified as part of the registration process. If you do not include a valid PCA membership number (or forward a pending membership confirmation from PCA to the registrar), a $10 non-member fee will be assessed. Non-member registrations will be placed on a waitlist status until 2 weeks prior to the event and will be confirmed at that time pending track availability.
You must be 18 or older with a valid drivers license to participate in this event. Your driver's license will be checked at registration!
You must have a Snell-certified SA2005 or M2005 or newer helmet. Your helmet will be checked at pre-tech! You must wear long pants and long sleeve shirt (made of natural fibers) and closed toe shoes while driving.
No two (2) driver cars allowed in DEs when both drivers are first time novices. No three (3+) driver cars allowed in DEs.
No convertibles or open cars without roll bars, trucks, or non-Porsche SUVs.
