About this event

2013 Concours d’Elegance
Celebrating 50 Years of the “SL Pagoda”
Saturday, October 12, 2013

Our 2013 Concours will be held on Saturday October 12, 2013 at RBM of Atlanta – North located at 345 McFarland Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30004.  The Concours is open to all Mercedes-Benz car owners.  This year’s Concours will feature the “SL Pagoda” in honor of this model’s 50th anniversary.

The Concours event will be preceded by a Judging school held Friday evening, October 11th at RBM of Atlanta – North from 5pm to 8 pm. Pete Lesler, MBCA National Concours Chairman will be teaching this class.  Judging school attendees do not have to attend to Concours.   There is no charge for the judging school, however registration is required so that we can plan accordingly.  A light dinner will be served.

The Concours will be held Saturday with Registration open from 8am until 8:45am.  All cars should be in their assigned spaces by 9am.  Judging will begin at 10am and will conclude by 1pm.  Lunch will be provided by RBM of Altanta – North.  Concours awards will be presented at 2 pm.  Non-MBCA members are eligible for all awards except for the Peachtree Section Bud Johnson Traveling trophy award that recognizes the best car.  If you are showing your car, please plan on staying for the entire event.

Youth Judging sponsored by Hagerty Insurance will once again be apart of this year’s show.  If you have a child or a grandchild between the ages of eight and seventeen they are eligible to participate. The children will have an opportunity to learn about the unique cars at the show and will do their own form of judging and present a trophy to the car of their choice.  This program will be limited and children will be accepted as youth judges on a first come first serve basis.  Please use the Registration form to enroll them as a Youth Judge (there is no fee to participate).   Parents/grandparents do not need to be a Concours participant but need to accompany the child to the event.
