September 11, 2010 (Saturday) - Autocross #8 for the 2010 Carlsen Porsche, PCA-GGR autocross series [Special GGR 50th Anniversary Event @ Alameda Point includes lunch!]

Saturday September 11, 2010 - PCA-Golden Gate Region AX#08 at Alameda Point. This special event is part of the GGR 50th Anniversary weekend celebration!
Not only will we be tearing up the autocross course, we will also be treated to lunch by "SantaFe BBQ".

Update:
In order to allow for sufficient time for people to get to the GGR 50th Anniversary dinner in the city after the autocross, we are going to run a single AX session from 9am --> 2pm. Lunch will be served from 2 --> 3:30pm. That should leave plenty of time to clean up and get into SF by 6pm. Bring a small snack to tied you over since this will be a late lunch.

Registration closes at 22:00 on Thursday, September 9. The price, to be paid through MotorsportReg, will be $65 with a $10 discount extended to current PCA members.
NOTE: Late registrations will be accepted Saturday, September 11 at the Alameda site, however the price at the event will be $75 with a $10 discount extended to current PCA members.
NOTE 2: This is registration for Autocross & Lunch. If you want to register for the Lunch ONLY (no AX), do not register for this event. Go to the following link for lunch only>>
Gates open at 7:00.

Event requirements
Verify that you meet one of the following conditions before you register for this event:
1) You are a PCA member and you will be driving a Porsche.
2) You are a PCA member and you will be driving a non-Porsche*.
3) You are not a PCA member and you will be driving a Porsche.
Do not register unless you meet one of the above conditions otherwise you will be automatically dropped. Send an email inquiry to jlee_axggr@comcast.net

*PCA-GGR members can use their other non-Porsche car, with prior arrangement only (permission from an event chair). For PCA members, we allow their minor children to particpate as long as they have a valid driver's license and at least one parent in attendence.
There are no other pre-reg. requirements, other than making sure your car is mechanically sound and in good running condition.
