Membership

Due to club insurance reqirements, all participants in our Driver's Schools must be members of Audi Club North Amercia. Driving an Audi is NOT required to join ACNA or to participate in our events - only club membership is.

You must be an active ACNA member during the event to participate (i.e. your membership expiration date must be later than November 2, 2008). A current and valid membership  must be on file with Audi Club North America! If you are not currently a member or need to renew, please visit www.AudiClubNA.org online. Cost for 1-year membership is $44. You will receive a temporary member number that can be used to register for this event.

Cherokee Audi Club is particularly interested in getting new faces to our events...

We foster a relaxed learning environment and stress progression at your own pace. In-Car instruction is the standard for all beginners and you'll share the track with drivers of similiar experience. If you are already a member of ACNA...

...you'll need to provide your membership number when you register. You'll find it on your membership card or contact ACNA at admin@AudiClubNA.org or call 262-567-5476.

Instructors

If you have not instructed for a Cherokee Audi Club Driver's School before, please contact Dan Hussey (Event Master) and include a driving/instructing resume if possible. Membership to ACNA is required for all instructors as well.

Pricing

Students - $395 ($345 Early Bird Registration through 8/31/2008 or limited quota)

Instructors - $50 plus $100 deposit.  $100 Deposit to be refunded to instructors within 1 week after the event. 

Saturday Evening Banquet - $35

Helmets (*Please make note of updated minimum ratings)

Helmets must be worn at all times while on track. Minimum rating must be at least SA-2000* or M-2000*. Limited number of rentals will be available at a cost of $40. (* In accordance with ACNA BOD policy (2/2008), Cherokee Audi Club has adopted new minimum helmet ratings. If you own a helmet(s), please double-check the rating(s) in advance of registration.)

Convertibles/SUVs/Trucks/Vans

For such vehicles to be allowed to participate, the minimum requirements are:
1) A four point roll cage consisting of a main hoop behind the front seats with two rear braces.
2) A four and preferably five point safety harness.
3) Arm restraints are recommended but not required at this time.

Removable hard tops are not considered structural roofs. The only exception is if they meet minimum requirements set by the racetrack/motorsports facility. SUVs, trucks, and vans are not allowed.
