Gambler 500 BC Presents: 100 Mile Horsepower Ranch Showdown!
100 Mile Horsepower Ranch is excited to announce we will be partnering up with the Gambler 500 BC group! Lots more event details to come but here’s a bit of info:
Get your map books out or your GPS ready, it’s not a Race!
For those that don’t know, Gambler 500 BC is a group of backcountry enthusiasts that enjoy exploring and doing trail runs. The group brings a unique twist to it though! Not only do they bring out vehicles you typically wouldn’t see doing off roading; they also do an organized trail clean up along the way. Helping clean up any garbage or debris left behind by others to make the backcountry a cleaner place!
The Gambler 500 organizers will be teaming up with local residents to map out a trail run, using the ranch as its base camp. Remember the trail run itself is not a race, it’s a GPS navigational challenge.
Back at the ranch participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at the bounty hole, challenge someone to a tug-o-war and jump your junk to see how far it flies!
Gates close each night at 11pm, no traveling to and from the ranch after 11pm unless there is an emergency. Please stay in town, at a hotel, a rest stop or truck stop if you can not make it out to the ranch before 11pm on Friday.
Please note there is no cell phone service at the ranch. Cell service is available at Forest Grove (30 min away) so please be prepared for this. We have a satellite phone for medical emergencies only.
General Admission Prices
$80/ person (Drivers, co-pilots and other attendees)
Gates open Friday at 10am for participant registration and check in.
Spectator Passes (Saturday afternoon only)
Spectator Admission gate will open at
$20/ person
Children 12 years and younger are free.

Registration and passes can be purchased here, no tickets necessary. Your name will go on a list and when you arrive at the Entry Gate please have a piece of photo ID ready.
We highly recommend bringing Cash as there will be food trucks on-site and apparel for sale.
There will not be Debit or Credit available due to the location of the race site. Cash Only.
This is a family friendly event
•Alcohol is not permitted while vehicles are in use, this includes driving on public roads such as trail runs and during other activities such as mud bogging, tug-o-war and jump your junk. Please save drinking until after hours.
•NO Drugs.
•NO CAMPFIRES only propane fire pits!
•We would like to ask everyone traveling to the ranch events to drive with the utmost care. Follow the rules of the road.
•Watch for livestock and wildlife on the roads to the ranch.
•We will have zero tolerance for any kind of reckless driving, speeding, disrespectful behavior or driving under the influence when it comes to the public traveling to and from the ranch. If you are caught or someone reports your behavior to us you will be banned from future events at the ranch. We are on a temporary permit and we need to set an example and leave a positive impression on the community. That means anytime you travel between 100 mile and the ranch please drive with the utmost respect.
•Police will potentially be doing road side checks.

100 Mile Horsepower Ranch is located 45 minutes from 100 Mile House. This is one of the closest places to get groceries, ice and supplies, so please be prepared. This is a CASH ONLY event.

Take BC-97 N for 2.1 km
Turn right onto Canim-Hendrix Lake Rd for 20.9km
Continue straight onto Eagle Creek Rd
Turn left onto Wilcox Rd for 15.2 km
Continue onto Bradley Creek Rd
Destination will be on the left just passed the 20km marker
Watch for the 100 Mile Horse

The track is located 38.8 km from the Highway 97 & Canim-Hendrix Lake Rd turn-off

100 Mile House can get very warm in the summer, please bring everything you need to be comfortable, sunscreen, hats, umbrellas, coolers, mosquito spray and a lot of water and ice.
Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs or suitable seating!
