Due to Kentucky State COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, this event will be riders and staff only.

 We are a Motorcycle Track day organization offering expert coaching at every level.

Track Experience is for first timers only who want to "test the waters". Street experience required. Motorcycle and Rider gear must adhere to Novice Group requirements. Rider will ride in the first two Novice Sessions. Then have the option of purchasing the whole day. 
Novice Group is for street experienced riders and, riders with some of track experience who are looking for a moderate pace. Passing limited to straights.
Intermediate Group is for track experienced riders who are familiar with the flags, pit in/out procedures and 10+ previous track days. Passing on straights and on outside in turns.
Advance Group is for track day veterans and licensed racers. The pace will be fast with passing allowed in every section of the track.

Gates open at 5:00pm Friday.
Registration and Tech will open at 7:30am each day and close at 10am.

Pricing:
Early Registration $225/day - $395/weekend
Standard Registrations $255/day - $455/weekend

Garage info:
2 VIP available for rental : $125.00 a day . 850 Sq. Ft.
18 standard garages: $75.00 a day. 425 Sq. Ft.

They have 10 rv spots available. $50.00 flat rate fee for the duration of the weekend for plug in.

Cancellation Policy -
There is a 10% cancellation fee. A refund will be issued if you cancel more than 10 days before the event. Rider substitutions are not allowed (you may not sell your spot). This is a rain or shine event. If you have to cancel within 10 days, your spot will be offered to the waitlist. If it can be sold, you will receive a credit on your motorsportreg.com account. If not, no credit will be issued. The deadline to cancel is 2 days before each event.

Event requirements

Age requirements:

Riders must be at least 18 years of age with a valid motorcycle endorsement. 

Gear Requirements:

1. Undamaged full-face helmet with face shield. Must be DOT, Snell or ECE rated.
2. Gauntlet gloves with leather protecting the palms and fingers.
3. Riding boots at least 8" that fully cover the ankle and go over the pant leg.
4. We suggest you use a chest and back protector.
5. One or two piece leather suit required. Two piece suits must have 360 degree zipper.
6. Knee and toe sliders that emit sparks are prohibited.
7. No crude or offensive images or verbiage.
All gear must be in good condition, free of holes and have padding in the shoulders, elbows and knees.

Motorcycle Requirements:

Maximum of 103 db level at 50 feet.
Tires must be 75% or better.
Brakes must be in good working order.
Motorcycles must have no leaks.
Side stands and passenger pegs must be secured up with safety wire or zip ties in the Advance and Intermediate Groups.
Center stands must be removed.
Headlights, brake light, turn signals and mirrors must be taped over completely.
Motorcycles must have working kill switch and self-closing throttle.
Oil filter, oil fill cap, oil drain plug and oil dip stick must be secured with safety wire in the Advance and Intermediate Groups.
Motorcycles must have a number on the front or side. The number is of your choosing and must be at least 5" tall.
No ethylene glycol based anti-freeze allowed in the Advance and Intermediate Groups.
No crude or offensive images or verbiage.
K&N oil filters are not allowed.

Passing Rules:
Novice Group -
Leave at least six feet of space between you and other riders.
No passing in turns. Do not pass Coaches until they wave you by.

Intermediate Group -
Leave at least six feet of space between you and other riders.
Passing is allowed on straights and on the outside of other riders in turns.

Advance Group -
Safe passing is allowed in every section of the track. Please be courteous to other riders.


Remember track days are not races. There is no reason to make a dangerous pass. All reports of dangerous riders will be taken very seriously. Do not “stuff” other riders into turns. If you are stuck behind a group of slower riders and are getting frustrated, please come into the hot pit lane and let the Marshall know you want some space. You will then be released back on to the track.

 
FLAGS AND COMMUNICATIONS
OPERATIONAL FLAGS:

Green Flag - indicates start of session or clear track conditions.

Checkered Flag - indicates end session - proceed around the course to the designated track exit.

Red Flag - indicates session has been stopped. All riders are to signal that they are no longer racing, then reduce speed and proceed safely to the pit road. For those locations without a pit road, the Race Director will designate an area to replace pit road. No passing is allowed from the flag stations displaying the red flag to the pit road.

Meatball Flag – Rider infraction- report to the Pit Steward on the next lap. Failure to respond will result in penalties. It is the rider’s responsibility to respond on the next lap.

WARNING FLAGS:
Yellow with Red Stripes – Debris or fluid on track surface-exercise caution.
A. Debris flag folded into a triangle and held pointing towards the sky indicates rain-exercise caution.

Yellow flag - Stationary - indicates a potentially hazardous situation on or near the track. Passing is allowed but riders should exercise extreme caution in this area.

Yellow flag - Waving - indicates a potentially hazardous situation on or near the racing line or in a crash impact area. No passing is allowed from the flag stations displaying the waving yellow flag until the rider is beyond the incident.

Black Flag - indicates a mechanical problem with your equipment. Signal that you are slowing, get off the racing line, then reduce speed and stop at the first safe position, preferably a corner station that can notify you of what the equipment problem is.

White Flag with Red Cross - indicates that a safety or emergency vehicle is on the course - Exercise caution. This flag will be displayed stationary at all stations whenever a safety or emergency vehicle is on the course.
This display will be accompanied by a waving yellow at the flag station immediately preceding the vehicle on the racecourse. A standing yellow flag will be displayed one flag station prior to the station covering the vehicle with the waving yellow flag.


If any rider violates any of the rules laid out by Midwest Track Day, LLC. they may be required to leave. If so, no refunds will be given to the rider in violation.
