There will be five session for each run group. New drivers will start out in a lower group to get the feel of the track and will progress up as they show there skill and understanding of safety.

Gates open at 7am and there will be a mandatory drivers meeting at 8am. Please arrive at 7 am if you have not had your tech inspection completed before the event. There is no charge for tech. For information see the form on our Facebook page or contact Gordon French. Gordon@LaJuntaRaceway.com

Club will provide donuts and coffee. There will be a track vender selling lunch and refreshments.

La Junta Raceway is a short 1.5 mile 7-turn airport course near La Junta (4,100 feet) in southeastern Colorado. The raceway is adjacent to the La Junta Municipal Airport on Colorado Route 109 north of the city. It is part of the municipally-owned airport and has no permanent facilities.

Driving Directions: From I-25 take Highway 50 east (exit ?). Highway 50 becomes 3rd avenue in downtown La Junta. Turn left (north) on CO Route 109 and proceed about 4 miles to the airport entrance. Turn right into the airport, turn north (left) at the first opportunity, then left again at the intersection (near the UPS facility), then right right at the following intersection. The track entrance is marked on your left.
