Your car must be pre-teched at an approved shop within thirty days of the event. If one of these shops is not local to you, contact Skip Carter for other arrangements - SkipCarter@pobox.com or (619) 992-9927. Call the shop for an appointment and find out if there is a cost. Please be courteous and prompt. A "thank you" is entirely appropriate, many shops do this at no charge. Bring your helmet and a completed tech sheet including points for any modifications to your car. Cars must meet the requirments of the Zone 8 Competition Rules (available at www.Zone8.org)

Please contact Dave Hockett Zone 8 DE/TT Chair if you are not in Zone 8 or have questions regarding pre tech, Zone 8 qualification rules etc - davndirc@yahoo.com

Stock classes have no additional safety requirements other than a qualified helmet, closed toe non-lug sole shoes, long sleeve shirt and long pants. Shoes, shirt and pants need to be non-synthetic materials (cotton preferred). Safety equipment requirements increase as you make more modifications to the factory configuration of your car. Open cars need roll-over protection, which is standard with newer Boxsters and 911 Cabriolets.

10" tall numbers must be visible from both side of the car. You can use blue or white painters tape (depending on your car's color) if you do not have your own permanent numbers. You will not be allowed on the track if you do not have clearly visible car numbers on both sides of the car

Payment for this event is required at the time of the event. If this is a concern please contact the Registrar - Suesan Way @ suesanway@pobox.com
