Supplementary Regulations follow.

June 1 & 2, 2013, Milwaukee Mile, West Allis, WI

1. Registration Procedure

A. Entries are not official until the entry form is signed, received, paid, and accepted. We are not responsible for entries lost/delayed in transit, failed online submission, or failed emails. Telephone entries will not be accepted. Email entries without a valid credit card number will not be processed.  Bad/returned/NSF checks and/or refused credit card charges will cause the entry to be considered a late entry. The late entry fee is $40.00. Personal checks, cash, cashiers checks, traveler’s checks, and Visa/MasterCard will be accepted.

B. Make all checks payable to Milwaukee Region SCCA. Please note checks are accepted for entries submitted through www.MotorsportReg.com.

C. Milwaukee Region reserves the right to accept or reject any entry. Requests for refunds after the notification date will incur the cancellation fee and must be made in writing to the Milwaukee Region SCCA no later than 7 days after the event.

D. Milwaukee Region Refund Request Policy: Entrants who are entered in both events and incur damage during the first day and cannot run the second event will receive a prorated refund, but they MUST NOTIFY THE REGISTRAR before the end of the event weekend.

E. Credentials for one driver and up to three (3) crew members will be issued at registration. Three additional crew passes and extra guest passes may be purchased for $10.00 each. Up to six (6) crew members are allowed in the pits at one time. There is no charge for guest passes for minors 12 and under. Please provide your guests’ names at registration and advise them of the hours registration will be open.

F. License confirmation: Competitors whose licenses are in process at the time they wish to race must obtain confirmation that their license is valid by arranging with the Registrar to telephone the National Office in Topeka.

G. Drivers and crew will not be permitted in the Competition Paddock area until properly registered through SCCA Registration.

H. Registration will be held on the backside (garage area) of The Milwaukee Mile administration building, 7722 W Greenfield Ave, West Allis, WI 53214, (414)-453-5761.

I. If another event is occurring at the fairgrounds, you may be stopped by a parking attendant the first time you enter the grounds. Mention SCCA and the parking fee should be waived. A parking pass, obtained in Registration, will allow you to re-enter the grounds without being asked to pay and is required for access to the in-field.

J. At the time of registration, you must present the following:

   1. Current SCCA competition license (or proof of license level), signed off Novice Permit, or 

      competition license accepted by SCCA.

   2. SCCA membership card or proof of membership.

   3. SCCA Photo ID. Photo IDs will be available for a nominal fee.

2. General

   A. All practice and qualifying times, grid positions, results, and sound readings will be posted

      and available at Media Center. Grid sheets, race results and trophies will also be available

      at the Media Center. Trophies will be awarded after results become official. NO TROPHIES WILL

      BE MAILED.

   B. Drivers may be held responsible for damages to property, including track and environmental

      damage.

   C. The Milwaukee Mile is a 1.8 mile track.

3. Special Track Amenities and Regulations

   A. See Supplementary Regulations for more track rules.

   B. Gate access into / out of the infield of the track for racing rigs will occur only at

      scheduled gate open times. See the Supplementary Regulations Event Schedule for the times the

      gate will be open. Access into / out of the infield of the track for cars can occur during 

      the sessions via the tunnel.

   C. Infield RV and motor coach parking fees are $25.00 ($50.00 with electric hook-up), and

      infield camping fees are $10.00 ($35.00 with electric hook-up). Note that electrical hook-ups

      are limited, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no water hook-

      ups or sewer services available. RV, motor coach and camper placards must be displayed at all

      times. Reservations should be made through the RV Park and there will be assigned sites

      either inside or under the Grandstand outside the track with access to showers and restroom

      facilities.

   D. Racing fuel is not available for sale at the track. Race gas (110 leaded racing fuel) is

      available outside the track at: Shell Mart, 2310 S 76th St, West Allis, WI 53219,

      414-546-2786, corner of 76th and Lincoln Ave. Hours of operation for the weekend are:

       Fri: 5:00am – 11pm; Sat: 5:00am – 11pm; Sun: 5am – 10pm.

   E. Please be aware the roads within the State Fair Grounds are considered public roads. As

       such, police may monitor to insure only street licensed vehicles are on these roads.

   F. The Milwaukee Mile premises MUST BE VACATED by 7:00 PM on SUNDAY, June 2, 2013. A charge may

      be levied against offenders.

4. Technical and Safety Inspection

   A. Regular technical inspection will be conducted at the Tech / Impound area. See a track map 

      for the location.

   B. Official scales will be available for competitors to check vehicle weight. Scales are located

      at Tech / Impound area. See Supplementary Regulations event schedule for times.

5. Rules of the Paddock

   A. All vehicles are to be driven at a slow and safe speed in the paddock.

   B. All vehicles and trailers must be parked in accordance with Paddock Marshal’s instructions.

   C. Trailers may be required to be removed from the paddock area to the trailer park adjacent  

      to the entrance road.

   D. Vehicles and trailers parked in Fire Lanes, unauthorized areas, or parked in violation of the

      Paddock Marshal’s instructions will be towed away without notice.

   E. No one shall ride on the bodywork of race cars, tow cars, or trailers.

   F. No stakes are to be driven into the asphalt in the paddock area.

   G. A valid driver’s license is required for operation of all motor vehicles in the paddock

     (including golf carts).

   H. Skateboards, roller blades and roller skates, motorized skateboards, and non-motorized

      scooters are prohibited.

3.  This event is organized by the Milwaukee Region of Sports Car Club of America, Inc. (SCCA) and will be held under the SCCA General Competition Rules and Fastrack updates, except as amended by these Supplemental Regulations.

4.  This regional race is open to all SCCA Novice Permit holders who have satisfied the school requirements, to

current holders of SCCA Regional, Vintage or National licenses, and to SCCA members who hold other

licenses accepted by SCCA, per the GCR.

10.  Race results and trophy distribution will be per the GCR and Fastrack updates or better.

12.  Functioning AMB TranX 260 transponders properly mounted to the competition vehicle are required for all

sessions for all race classes.  Transponder times are official times for all race groups.

 13. Radio frequencies 452.700, 457.700, 461.150, 461.325, 462.200, 463.700, 464.075, 461.175, 463.225,

464.525, 466.175, 468.225, and 469.525 are reserved for race operations and may not be used by any

competitors. The Region reserves the right to designate other frequencies for race administration.

14.  When entering the track from the pits, drivers must keep their cars to the right of the blend line.

15.  Black flags and mechanical black flags will be displayed at Corner 6.

16.  Proper credentials, closed shoes and shirts are required in the pits, grid and false grid areas.

17.  Smoking is prohibited in the pits, grid and false grid areas.

18.  Noise Pollution Regulation: No racing engines, including showroom cars with open exhaust, may be run

before 9:00 AM or after 5:00 PM on weekends. Maximum sound reading allowed by local ordinance is

103dB. During the race you will be black flagged after 3 sound violations and moved to last finishing position

with a loss of event points (if you had a race finish).

19.  FE and FM tire markings will be available on the false grid before qualifying.

20.  This is a CenDiv Championship Series points event. Preregistration is required for participation in the series.

21.  The fastest qualifier in a race group who selects the "outside pole" (per GCR) must notify the Grid Marshal at the front of the field before the five minute warning is given for that race group.

22.  Split starts are at the discretion of the Chief Steward who must receive a request within 30 minutes after

posting the final grid.

23.   Drivers may be held responsible for harm to property, including damage to the track and to the environment.

Fees charged for the removal /disposal of hazardous waste or used tires will be assessed to the responsible

driver.

24.  All competitors must maintain a slow, prudent speed on pit lane at all times. Use the transit lane until

reaching and upon exiting your pit stall. Do not drive through other pit stalls. Tire scrubbing is permitted after

the apex of corner one.

25.  Four (4) crew members (plus the driver) are allowed over the wall to service a vehicle in pit lane, and only two

(2) crew members are allowed over the wall for signaling purposes. No crew members are allowed at the pit

wall during starts and restarts.

26.  If the Chief Steward allows the substitution of a car or driver, per GCR 5.12.2.A.6, any qualifying times earned

for the original car / driver up to that point will be removed.

27.  A competitor involved in contact, or who has violated flag rules (yellow, black, red, or checker), must report directly to impound in the racecar, and report to the steward.

28.  A competitor who witnesses contact, or witnesses a violation of flag rules, in the spirit of the sport, should

also report to the impound steward.

29.  Please do not put any equipment in pit lane, including at the pit wall, +/- 10 feet of start / finish, as this may interfere with timing and scoring electronics.

Milwaukee Mile Speedway Regulations

1. Minors, pets, pit vehicles – All minors must be under the direct supervision and accompanied by their

parent(s) or acting guardian(s) AT ALL TIMES. No pets are allowed at the Speedway without the express

written consent of The Milwaukee Mile. Unlicensed motorcycles, mini-bikes, motor scooters, mopeds, ATV’s,

golf carts, etc. are only allowed on The Milwaukee Mile infield. Licensed drivers age 16 and above are the

only Club support members allowed to use or operate Club support vehicles.

2. Camping – Limited tent and motorhome camping is available. Some electrical hookups are available but no

sewer or water hookups. Reservations should be made through the RV Park. Camping permits must be

displayed at all times as well as electric cord tags. No fireworks or external sound systems are allowed at any

time. No open flames or fires are permitted; however contained barbecues and camping stoves are

permitted.

3. Milwaukee Mile reserves the right to amend, modify or supplement these Speedway Rules and

Regulations at any time without notice. Persons who violate these rules will be subject to removal without

refund or recourse.
