Cost, Membership and Identification:
The entry fee is $495 for the 2 day school, but by registering before March 1 you can save $25 and pay only $470.  Early instructor registration is $175; $195 after March 1. This includes everything necessary for two days of learning more about yourself and your car. Classroom materials and instruction, on track instruction, lunch both days, Saturday night dinner, event shirt, raffle and auction (great bargains), and two days of on track driving.

Event requirements:
BEFORE REGISTERING, please review the following requirements and information:

·         Must be 18+ years old licensed driver.

·         Car must pass tech inspection (you must have your car pre-tech'd).

·         Failure to meet safety check will disqualify students from event and potential forfeiture of the entry fee.

·         Open cars (convertibles) are not allowed unless there is a 4 point roll bar.  This includes TT's, BMW Roadsters, Honda S2000s, Porsche Boxters, etc.

·         Equal seat belt restraints are required for driver and instructor.

Vehicle Requirements:

·         Again...no convertibles are allowed unless there is a 4 point roll bar.

·         Pick-up trucks are not allowed, due to high center of gravity. Certain SUV's may be allowed in novice groups only - please confirm with the registrar before signing up.

Helmet Requirements:
Participants must wear helmets bearing Snell 2005 or later certification - SA or M helmets are acceptable. This certification label MUST BE accessible for verification for the helmet to be allowed. Helmets are available for rent at the track.

Classroom Sessions:
This is a driver's education school and is not practice for any racing or speed contest. All participants are required to attend classroom sessions designed to teach vehicle dynamics and driving techniques. These sessions will continue throughout the day to help participants understand the fine art and science of performance driving.

Tech Inspection:
You are must have a qualified individual/mechanic inspect your vehicle and verify its safety. This inspection should occur within four weeks of the event. There will not be an inspection at the event.  This is a driving school, so good, street-worthy condition is all that is required.  You are solely responsible for insuring that your vehicle is safe and capable before you come to the track.  Event fees will not be refunded due to mechanical failures.  Failure to present a completed Pre-Event Safety Inspection Report will disqualify you from participation in the event and your entry fee may be forfeited.

Other Requirements:
All participants must present a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age. Seat belts (same type for both driver and passenger) must be securely anchored to the floor and/or stock mountings.  This is not a racing school but rather a safe, high speed driving school, conducted on a race track under close supervision by experienced instructors. You will learn how to handle and control your vehicle. This will help to prepare you for emergencies that may occur in normal driving situations. It will also allow you to explore your capabilities as a driver and those of your vehicle. At no time will you be pushed or encouraged to go any faster than is comfortable for you. All participants will be organized into run groups in accordance with experience, skill, and type of vehicle.

Garages:
Garages are not available for this event.

Medical Information Form:
Completion of the Medical Information Form is required. A sealed envelope with be provided and this form will be delivered to the rescue and safety personnel before driving begins. After conclusion of the event, your envelope and its contents will be shredded, or returned unopened to you, whichever you prefer.
