Insurance
Event insurance does not cover damage to your vehicle or the vehicles of others or damage to the NCCAR facility. The event insurance is for LIABILITY. As a participant who has signed the waiver are covered for liability ensuing from your participation in this event. You must understand that you are not protected by this policy for collision or property damage.
Your automobile insurance may or may not cover damage to your vehicle or the property of others. If you are unsure check with your insurer. Hint: Do not ask your Car Insurance Agent if you are covered during a driver school on a track; rather ask for all exclusions in writing. This is a gentleman's sport. You are responsible for your vehicle and that of anyone else involved with you in a collision at the event. Private insurance policies may not cover at a "racing surface" based school. READ your exclusions. If your coverage does not cover these events you may assume the risk of damage or buy a supplemental policy that covers at least some of these risks. One example of such coverage is available from Locton Affinity ( https://hpdeins.locktonaffinity.com/Coverage.aspx?pID=2076). Another is Great American Insurance Group www.ontrackinsurance.com . Always read the coverages and exclusions of any policy you purchase.
