Don't know what class to register your car in? Create an account at the Zone 8 classification page and your class will be calculated for you. For help, Tech Inspection Chair is Dan Hockett, (909) 921-5596
You must have a tech Inspection at one of our approved shops within thirty days of the event. Call first to set up an appointment. Please be courteous and prompt. A 'thank you" is entirely appropriate because many do this at no charge. Bring along your helmet and a completed tech sheet including points for any modifications to your car. Highlights of the tech inspection will include: Fresh brake fluid, 60%+ brake pad thickness, sound wheel bearings, secure battery mount, no fluid leaks, tires with plenty of tread to get them through a full track event, working brake lights, securely mounted seats, 3pt stock belts or 5/6pt harness properly routed and still valid [No 4pt Harnesses allowed in PCA events].
You will need a fire extinguisher on board, a roll cage and safety clothing only if your class requires those. Street stock classes and most modified classes do not require these items, but safety requirements intentionally increase as you make more modifications to the factory configuration of your car. Porsche Boxster and Carrera Cabriolets have built-in roll-over protection. Other open cars require aftermarket protection unless documentation of factory roll-over protection is provided to the inspection site.
Numbers are required on both sides of car. Blue painters tape is available at registration if you don't have pre-cut numbers. The timing volunteers remind us that if they can't read the number from their trailer, you won't get a time.
