SCHOOL HOURS: 7 AM to 4 PM.
Our policy has changed regarding open top cars, but as an example, here is more detailed info, from our old event info (http://www.wmc-bmwcca.org/event/276)

OPEN CARS: For this event students will be allowed to participate in open top cars, provided (a) the open car is equipped with the factory DOT rollover protection or an SCCA approved roll bar or roll cage which protects both the student and their Instructor; (b) the student certifies that any supplementary roll bar or roll cage is SCCA approved; (c) the car otherwise passes the pre-event technical spot check. All open cars are required to have a factory DOT approved top if no supplementary roll bar or cage is being used.  If we cannot find an instructor who is willing to accompany you on the track and you are not approved for solo driving, your entry fee will be refunded. It is the student's responsibility to have their convertible approved by the Driving Events Committee before coming to the track.  Participants will be required to sign an additional open car waiver before being allowed on the track with an open car.

NOVICES: All drivers with no previous Driving School experience will be required to attend an Advanced Driving Skills School (at an additional fee) prior to the event. Please note that the Advanced Driving Skills School is designed to help you explore the performance capabilities of your vehicle before coming to the track.

CLASSROOM SESSIONS: This is a driver's education school and is not practice for any racing or speed contest. All participants are required to attend classroom sessions designed to teach vehicle dynamics and driving techniques. These sessions will continue throughout the day to help participants understand the fine art of high speed driving. Failure to attend as required will result in loss of driving privileges.

Participants must wear helmets bearing Snell 2000 or later certification.  This certification (M00, M2000, M05, M2005, SA00, SA2000, SA05 or SA2005 MUST BE visible for the helmet to be allowed)

TECH INSPECTION: All participants will receive a Pre-Event Safety Report. You will be required to have a qualified individual/mechanic inspect your vehicle and verify its safety. This inspection should occur within three weeks of the event. In addition, on the morning of the event our tech crew will collect all Pre-Event Safety Inspection Reports and perform a spot check of every vehicle. You are solely responsible for insuring that your vehicle is safe before you come to the track. Failure to present a completed Pre-Event Safety Inspection Report or failure to pass our spot check will disqualify you from participation in the event and your entry fee will be forfeited.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: All participants must present a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age. All participants must wear helmets bearing Snell 2000 or later certification. Seat belts (same type for both driver and passenger) must be securely anchored to the floor and/or stock mountings. Instructors with Convertibles must have approved rollover protection as described in the section OPEN CARS! No one under the age of 18 will be allowed in the pit area. Please understand that this is not a racing school but rather a safe, high speed driving school, conducted on a race track under close supervision by experienced instructors. You will learn how to handle and control your vehicle at speeds not normally attained on public roads. This will help to prepare you for emergencies that may occur in normal driving situations. It will also allow you to explore your capabilities as a driver and those of your vehicle. At no time will you be pushed or encouraged to go any faster than is comfortable for you. All participants will be organized into run groups in accordance with experience, skill, and type of vehicle. Participants not "signed off" will be required to drive with an instructor on board at all times. Under no circumstances will timed laps be permitted! If you are seen with a stop watch at any time, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your ability to participate in this or future White Mountain Chapter Driving Schools.

MEDICAL INFORMATION FORM: Completion of the Medical Information Form is at the option of the Applicant. Complete this form if you would like rescue personnel at the racetrack to have your medical information readily available should you incur personal injuries or suffer from an illness while participating in the event. If you opt to complete the form, you must strictly follow the instructions. A sealed envelope with this form will be delivered to the rescue personnel before driving begins. After conclusion of the event, your envelope and its contents will be shredded.

The event organizer is offering the following cancellation policy directly to you: Refunds allowed until August 17th minus a $20 cancellation fee. NO REFUNDS after August 17th. Also consult the MotorsportReg.com terms.
