Event #6 has been the victim of ever changing site availability. It is now locked and loaded for Pennington Field in Bedford.
Pennington Field has some very specific sound requirements - please read this section VERY CAREFULLY! It's very important that we adhere to the following rules in order to retain Pennington Field as a site for autocrosses. Please do not put us in a position of jeopardizing the site for our club or others.
- No cars allowed on course before 10:00 am
- If your car is loud, do not start it anywhere near the west end of the paddock area (this is the area near the apartments)
- No loud music - from your car, boom box or your best karaoke voice
- We will be measuring sound all day - if you car exceeds 100db you will be required to make an adjustment before you make your next run. If you exceed 100db after adjustments you will not be allowed to run any more that day.
We strongly encourage pre-registering for this event, however there will be walk up registration allowed. By pre-registering you can skip the lines in the morning and use that time for course walking, getting your car tech'd, or grabbing some breakfast. It also helps us plan a better event for you!
Event requirements
Please be sure to bring your drivers license and SCCA membership card to the event. If you are not a member, register using the Non-Member link and you will be assigned a weekend membership for the event. The fee you pay as a non-member ($10) can be applied toward your membership dues.

8:00am - 9:00am.... Registration & Tech Inspection Open
8:30am (approx)..... Course open for walking
9:10am (approx)..... Novice Walk Thru
9:30am (approx)..... Mandatory Drivers Meeting
10:00am (approx)..... 1st heat Drivers in Grid, 1st heat Workers on course, First Car Out!
If this will be your first event with Texas Region SCCA, please be at the site by 8:00am! This gives you time to get your car ready and tech inspected, and still leave plenty of time to walk the course.
Everyone on site MUST sign the insurance waiver & wear a wristband. Minor waivers will be available for anyone under 18 accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
