About this event
The Gold Country Drive is set for Saturday, September 28th, beginning at 8:30AM and finishing at about 2:00 pm. The drive will start in Sacramento, where we enjoy a Coffee and Cars welcome hosted by Niello Audi. We will then head out into the Gold Country with our destination being the town of Murphys.
It is a beautiful scenic drive through twisty and not-often traveled parts of Sacramento, Amador and Calaveras counties with plenty of photo opportunities and places to get out and stretch your legs. With plenty of great driving roads in the area, we will have no shortages of twists and turns through the foothills.
The lunch stop will be in Murphys at around 1pm and we'll conclude the drive after lunch. This is a full day of exploring some great countryside, twisty roads, meeting new friends, and enjoying the performance of your Audis. There are plenty of places to go and see around the area as you travel home after the drive as well.
As a footnote, the Ironstone Concours d'Elegance will be going on in Murphy's from 10-4:30 at Ironstone Vineyards. It is a great event and if you want to purchase tickets or get more information go to http://www.ironstonefoundation.org/
The cost of the drive is $25 per person and registration fee will cover the cost of lunch.

Event requirements
There are no pre-registration requirements for this event.
All drivers must be registered members of the Audi Club of North America. Passengers do not need to be club members.
