BMW CCA West Coast Summer Concours

Due to generous sponsorship from Liberty Mutual, BMW North America and BMW Car Club of America, club members wishing to attend as spectators may be admitted to the West Coast Summer Concours, Corral and Picnic at no charge!

 

We encourage CCA members to register before August 1st. Just provide your BMW CCA membership number, pre-pay for lunches and tee-shirts if you wish, and your in!

 

For those wishing to enter their BMW for judging in the Concours, the entry fee is $50 per vehicle.

 

The Central California Chapter BMW CCA is again proud to host this year’s kick-off event to the BMW club’s Festorics weekend. This event has been held annually at different venues for 13 years and this year we are opening a new chapter that you are going to be a part of.

 

This year we are excited to have this event at the Rancho Canada Golf Club located in the Carmel Valley just East of California Highway 1. Offering a lush green backdrop for our event and shielded from the ocean breezes, we could not have asked for a better location for our BMW stage! We are, in fact just up the road from the original site of this event.

 

This event has featured many world class BMW models from across the country and the world. Most notably, last years event included many pre-war and vintage classics from Europe. We are expecting more of the same this year.

 

This year’s event will offer new attractions. We are inviting BMW and automotive related vendors to the event and will have a special area from which to offer their products and services. We are encouraging participants to ‘make a day of it’, spread your blanket, set your chairs and bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the moment. There will be an optional lunch available on-site either at the Golf Club’s restaurant or a box lunch you can pre-purchase or buy the day of the event.

 

Of course the main attractions of the day are the many fine examples of BMW automobiles. Our site will include the main judging area where BMWs will be judged originality, cleanliness, age, mileage, etc. There will also be several classes for specific BMW models such as coupes, 2002’s and early M3’s.

 

The field will also include a corral featuring a variety of BMWs that are part of the show as well but not included in the judging.

Food Considerations:

 

The Summer Concours site in the perfect place to bring your picnic basket, spread your blanket and enjoy your own tasty treats.  There are two other options available for lunch:

 

Your may pre-order as very special box lunch prepared by the Rancho Canada kitchen.....

Two Honey Wheat Roll Sandwiches:

One with Turkey and Swiss and One with Ham and Cheddar,

Lettuce, Tomatoes, Boiled Egg and Dill Pickle

Fried Chicken ~ Gourmet Pasta Salad (No Onion)

Whole Fruit ~ Homemade Cookie

Bottled Water or Soft Drink

You may visit the clubhouse restaurant and order of their fine menu.
