This is not an autocross event.  Those who register here will be sent 1 email reminder 3 days before each Solo event. 

Registration typically closes 2 days before each autocross in order to determine the run order and driver work assignments.

The reminder, with a link to the event, gives you time to sign up, recheck, and if needed, to cancel your registration.

Occasionally, MSR registration does not complete properly, making this ideal for verifying your registration a couple of days before you pack up the car.

And it helps those who are unable to commit ahead of time, or those who wait for the final weather report before deciding to make the trip.  If you normally wait until the last day to sign up, this event is for you :)

Basically, this "email reminder" event is to help you get to events that you want to attend and to help prevent last minute changes from compromising event pre-planning.
