Join ORPCA for a day of fun and learning on the track with your car and fellow motorsports enthusiasts. You can find all about our program on www.oregonpca.org select HP Driver Ed from the Quick Link menu.
For your registration fee you will enjoy around 80 minutes of track time. If you are new to HPDE or just want to learn some more, we provide instruction, both a ground school for novices as well as in car instructors to help you get the most from the day and your vehicle.
WE OFFER FOUR RUN GROUPS FOR DRIVER EDUCATION
Novice/Beginner - The driver has none to some experience at High Speed Driving on a Track and will probably need instruction
Intermediate - The driver has some DE experience, typically 5 or more DE days and is in the process of improving their fundamental skill set. May need some instruction.
Advanced - The drivers usually have several years of track experience, they are generally working on perfecting advanced driving skills and have the ability to drive off the line safely.
Instructor - These are individuals approved by ORPCA's Chief Driving instructor to teach the other participants.
We welcome all marques to our events as long as you bring a track worthy car with you.
FYI: Starting the the September Event we have eliminated the second driver in the same car discount. It did not achieve the goals we had set for it. If you have any questions about this please contact the Event Chair, Don Clinkinbeard at dechair@oregonpca.org
