NNJR's premier event returns to Pocono Raceway on September 12, 13, and 14.
As usual, a first day application for students means you are very likely to be accepted. To encourage early Instructor sign up, garages will be reserved for DE Instructors in the order that applications are received. And we will have special prizes for Instructors who volunteer but don't drive.
We are fortunate to have Ray Catena Porsche as the title sponsor for Porscherama, which means, among many other features, there will be a first class dinner Saturday night. Again this year, dinner will be at the track. But the tent has been replaced with (drum roll, please ... ) enclosed and heated garage space. Please stop by Ray Catena Porsche and say thank you!
Of course, Porscherama will continue to be a "six ring circus". This starts with 2 days of DE on 2 courses, sponsored by Precision Motorsports. Whether you are a DE student, solo driver, or Instructor, you will find lots of track time and see all of your DE friends.
The autocross will run both days on the east course with a combination of cones and built-in twists and turns designed for your Porsche. Bragging rights are available for the fastest autocross of the season, with trophies for the top ten "hot shoes."
Saturday at noon will find a large display of clean Porsches (and some track cars that aren't quite so clean) covering the front straight. It's a great opportunity to show off your pride and joy and/or get some great Porsche photos.
The afternoon includes a rally through some spectacular Pocono scenery and foliage. And we guarantee you will be back before dinner!
Saturday evening promises great food and drink, prizes for event winners, door prizes, and much more.
On Sunday, the Precision Motorsports DE and the Autocross continue while the Time Trial gets underway. More opportunities for bragging rights!
