“Try it Again”

A Gimmick Rally

 

  Hopefully the weather gods will be more kind this time around and the sun will shine!  We will “Try Again” with the same A Porsche is not required but you need to have a working odometer for the distance awards. 

 

    If you have been afraid of joining the rally group, never fear because on this one you absolutely cannot get lost and because of the Gimmick, everyone will have a chance to win! Teams will be given a map of the City and a sheet with the names and addresses of selected sponsors of our newsletter.  Teams will be required to visit all of the listed locations in any order or direction of their choosing.  The key will be to accomplish this in the shortest total distance.

By collecting a playing card from decks left by the rallymaster at each location we will know that you did indeed visit each advertiser’s place of business. 

We will have awards for both the shortest distance (requires skill); and for some type of poker hand using the cards you found (requires luck).

As usual, we will begin by a meeting at the Visitor's Center of the Garden of the Gods.  Plan to be there at 0900.  The first car is scheduled out at 0945.  We will finish the 2 hour rally at Ewe’s German Restaurant on Iowa for lunch and awards.
