Zone 2 returns to VIR on March 12-14, 2010 for its famous 3 day Drivers Ed.
Join us for three fabulous days on the Full Course at Virginia International Raceway. This is a ‘must do’ event for 2010. Last year we attracted drivers from as far away as Chicago and Florida. As with past events, we plan on having a scrumptious Southern style dinner on Saturday. Plenty of time to reunite with old friends and bench race with new ones. Don’t delay, last year the event sold out very quickly.
As if three great days of fabulous track time at VIR aren’t enough your Hospitality chair is pleased to announce a few additions to the Zone 2 DE weekend. Immediately following Friday’s track time all are invited to join us in garages 1 and 2 for our traditional Paddock Party welcome. Complimentary beer, wine and soft beverages served along with Zone Chef Andrew’s tool box cuisine. Raising the bar over last years ‘Gourmet Garage Wieners’ this years ‘Nurburg Nacho Ring’ brings some unexpected twists and turns to the traditional Nacho offering. First beer drawn when the track goes cold Friday afternoon. Don’t miss this event, compliments of Zone 2.
Saturday evening your event registration includes admission to our Bavarian themed banquet dinner. Time is 6 pm and will be hosted in the Pagoda room, upstairs over the luncheon snack bar area. An authentic Bavarian buffet dinner along with cash bar are sure to be enjoyed. Additional tickets for friends and family are available at registration and throughout the weekend at the registration garage. Price is complimentary for registered participants, $25 for additional adults, $10 for children 12 and under.
As in years before Zone 2 will be supporting and raising funds for the Susan Kasdas Colon Cancer Foundation. This fundraiser is in memory and honor of PCA Chesapeake Region Member Lynn Eckels.
Bring your dollars along for the Saturday evening Banquet, additional fundraising events will be a 50-50 raffle with a chance to win big money (well maybe enough for a tire) and new for this year ‘Porsche Bingo’ with your chance to win free admission to an upcoming Zone 2 DE! Along with door prizes and a few surprises Zone 2 strives for this to be your best DE experience
