KC BMW Club Karting Championship
SADLER'S INDOOR RACING, DECEMBER 13TH 2PM
KANSAS CITY BMW CLUB PRESENTS
THE 2008 BMW CLUB KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP
Why not join us to celebrate the coming holiday season BMW club style - how about racing around a grand-prix style course in go-karts that can reach 50mph! That's right - Sadler's has new go-karts, an exciting course layout, and we've decided to take over the joint!! Yes, now's your chance to prove you can turn laps better than Raikkonen, Massa, Montoya, and some guy named Hamilton.
We'll be running the grand-prix course and we've set it up so there will be 3 races (10 minutes apiece) followed by a finals race of the top racers. Each race will have 15 karts. The top 15 then go on to race for the championship. Cost per race is $20, and you can buy as many heats as you like - up to 3. We'll be the only ones on course - don't miss out on this fun event!

Event requirements
These go-karts are fast, and its easy to let the 'red-mist' take over. Sadler's has some rules they want us to follow. Please make note of the following requirements.
Safety Briefing
Following is a list of our track rules and safety information. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the rules, flags and caution lights. Anyone that does not abide by the rules of the track will not be allowed to race.

- You must be on-site and ready to go 20 minutes prior to the start of the event.
- All participants MUST attend a driver's meeting and safety briefing prior to being allowed on course.
- Sadlers requires all drivers to sign a liability waiver before racing. No one under the influence of alcoholic beverages or any other controlled substance will be permitted to drive
- All drivers must wear a helmet and neck brace. Sadlers provides the racing helmets, liners and neck braces.
- Enter and exit the go-kart from the right side. Please let a member of our track crew handle any issues with the engine.
- Keep both hands on the wheel at all times unless you are raising your hand for the caution. Use one pedal at a time. Keep your feet square on the pedals, this will make it easier to avoid riding the brake.
