How would you like a two-day ultimate fantasy Porsche driving adventure? Now's your chance: for only $20 a ticket (a tax deductible charitable contribution), you can enter a raffle for a two-day course at the Porsche Sport Driving School in Birmingham, Alabama. This course normally sells for $2,995! All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to charity and you DO NOT have to be present to win. Plus, the prize is fully transferable so, if you like, you can give it as a gift! Here's what you'll do at the school: The two-day program begins with a brief classroom session discussing vehicle dynamics and the driving line. Participants are then transferred to the track and begin a series of rotations through the Skid Pad, Performance Driving Techniques, Autocross and track sessions. The first afternoon is spent mastering the proper driving line and the many technical corners of the track, while continuing to sharpen basic skills at the Autocross, Skid Pad and Lane Change. Then you’re off to dinner with the instructors at the Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa. The morning of day two is dedicated to heel and toe downshifting, competing in the Michelin Autocross Challenge, Cornering Drill and track sessions. Skills are continually refined with track sessions in the afternoon and the Cayenne off-road course.
