About this event
Welcome to the 2009 BMW CCA Oktoberfest registration site for Driving School Instructors. This site is only for driving school instructors. Registration for Oktoberfest events as well as students, autocrossers and car control school needs to be done via the Oktoberfest website at http://www.bmwccaofest.org
- Wednsday, September 30th: One day driving school
- Thursday, October 1st: One day driving school
- Friday, October 2nd: One day driving school
- Weekend, October 3rd & 4th: Two day driving school
Instructor registration will correlate this format. Instructors can register anywhere from one to all five days. The only caveat is the weekend. It is a two day package, so instructors need to be available to instruct both Saturday and Sunday.

Event requirements
Instructor Experience:
This registration is for instructors only. If you have not previously instructed with the Peachtree Chapter, your registration will be placed on hold and our chief instructors will contact you to check references and credentials.
If you have not driven Road Atlanta before - we want you to arrive the day before your instructor duties are scheduled so you can catch a ride with an experienced instructor, that way you can see the track line before being in a car expected to teach it. The only day this presents a problem is for Wednesday, so we plan to make the first instructor session longer to allow time for new instructors to ride along and then still have time to drive the track to get fully accustomed to the track, the elevation changes, the blind corners, the walls, etc.
All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Track Damages
You will be held personally responsible for damages to the track that may occur. For example, if you spill oil on the track, damage a tire wall or concrete barrier, Road Atlanta will bill Peachtree BMW CCA for these damages. We will in turn ask you to reimburse us this cost. This applies to any charges incurred for the use of tow trucks or ambulance above what we have agreed to in our contract with Road Atlanta for the event.
Helmets
Helmets must be Snell 2000 or later. SA- and M- ratings are both acceptable.
Race Prepped Cars
- Cars must have equal restraints for both the instructor and passenger.
Cabriolets (convertibles)
- No cabriolets (convertibles) are permitted. This includes race and/or track prepared Mazda Miata cars, Porsche Boxster and 911 cars, and any other vehicle that was factory produced in the form of a convertible!
- Hard Top Convertibles are classified as a cabriolet.
- Absolutely no exceptions will be made.
Please remember, the Peachtree Chapter members who organize and run this event do so as volunteers!
