Status - 8-3-2012 - The event is almost full. B, C and D groups are signing up WAITLIST. 5 spots remain in A. All signups wlll now automatically waitlist, but qualified "A"'s will be confirmed within 48 hours. Others will confirm as cancellations allow.

STUDENTS Must be BMW CCA members to participate per BMW CCA guidlines. Registration opens to current Tarheel Chapter BMW CCA members on 6/21/12 at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. HPDS cost $399.00 Sat/Sun for CCA members Only. Not a member of CCA? Join at www.BMWCCA.org and hit the JOIN button. After 10 days, July 1 registration opens to other than Tarheel Chapter members.
FRIDAY: Only Instructor Training School [ITS] students who have passed the Driver Skills Evaluation and Tarheel School students who have A+ experience with Tarheel Chapter HPDS may register for Friday. Just as we have definitions for A-D group experience, so have we added the NEW CATEGORY A+. Briefly stated, Friday is now open to "A+" students, defined as those who score 5's in attitude and 11 or higher in all skill categories on their most recent Student Evals AND have completed four Tarheel Chapter schools (8 days) in the "A" group over the past three years. Review your Log Book on Msreg.com. The cost to A+ students for Friday is $199.00. There will be a student meeting, brief classroom and Coaches will be available to you during at least one session and optionally throughout the day upon request. Note the registration fee does not include lunch. The four run groups on Saturday and Sunday will remain. A+ is only a Friday designation.
INSTRUCTORS registration opens 6/21/12 at 8:00 PM and will not close until staffing is completed. Note we cannot confirm students until we have sufficient staff so please let us know early that you will be available to Instruct. Friday cost for instructors working Sat/Sun (as well as ITS candidates) is $120.00. Not included are Instructors not available to instruct the weekend or A-B-C-D level students. Note we are inviting A+ students. Read paragraph above. Sat/Sun there is no charge for working instructors. Lunch tickets ($9.00) are provided to Instructors S/S.
Please read carefully. We plan to have a dinner (supper if you are from around here) Saturday evening at the VIR Facility using the (Museum) Banquet Building. Please plan to be part of this social evening. Cost is $20.00 and includes the choice of Grilled Chicken for those who choose not to eat Pork or a Pig Picking with all the trimings to include non alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will be available. This is a great opportunity to meet each other and share the day's events.
REGISTRATION CHECK-IN FOR EVERYONE IS IN THE NORTH PADDOCK AT VIR FRIDAY. Participants who attend Friday will register Friday AM around 7:45 AM. EVERYONE else registers Friday late afternoon/evening in the Paddock of the North/Full Course. INSTRUCTORS working only Sat/Sun may register Saturday AM if you are not able to do so Friday. Please, everyone try to register Friday. Saturday mornings are very hectic and stressful for everyone.
