Porsche Handling? Autocross?

Pike's Peak Int'l Raceway

About this event

Lets face it, many Porsche owners actually have never truly felt how their vehicle handles at its limits and take for granted that it handles well from others who exploit their vehicles capabilities on the track and on autocrosses. If you have only read about Porsches handling or heard it from others in the club, it is now time to finally experience it for yourself as a lot of engineering and R&D was not put into these vehicles for nothing! Do yourself and your vehicle a favor and come out and test your driving skills at the 1st autocross of the year. It's a lot of fun and the skills you learn can literally save lives during emergency maneuvers to avoid wild life, other vehicles, children running across the street, etc

WHO:   All PCA Members that want to learn or refresh their memory on how their Porsche handles!  Other vehicles are permitted but the only SUV allowed is the Cayenne.  Non-PCA members welcomed!

WHAT:  The first AMR autocross of the year!

WHEN:  Sunday May 8 at 08:30AM for the drivers meeting and first car out at 09:00AM.  The gates will open at 07:00AM to allow drivers to arrive and prepare their vehicles before the drivers meeting.

WHERE: Pikes Peak International Raceway parking lot.

WHY: Our vehicles have gone through a lot of R&D to maximize handling and response and its time that they get used for their intended purposes!

Valuable driving skills will be learned which are applicable on the street during emergency maneuvers!

An autocross will also allow you to:
  • Gain confidence in your driving ability and at the car's limits
  • Gain confidence in your car's brakes and their their limits
