It is our pleasure to offer you, the friends of both Ken Price and Glen Speakman a vehicle through which to donate money to be used by them for extraordinary expenses related to their recent hospitalization. Many of you are aware that there was a single car wreck at VIR, October 2, 2010. Ken and Glen were in the car that wrecked and both were air lifted to Duke Medical Center. Both men are recovering. Expenses encountered in conjunction with their medical care and ongoing rehabilitation will be big. Both men had medical insurance, so this is not a plea for covering medical costs; rather it is an opportunity for us to give them our support in a tangible way to make their recovery which may be a very long process, less of a financial strain.
Motorsportreg.com has kindly waived the fee for the use of their site and we thank them. The donations given in this site will flow from motorsportreg.com directly into Glen Speakman's account. The account can only be accessed for withdrawals by Glen. Thus you can be confident that your gift will all go to him. Any administration is covered by friends at no cost. The only reduction will be the convenience charge made by Credit Card companies [3% by Visa & MasterCard]. Please know this is not a CHARITABLE DONATION as defined by tax law.
