SFR Entrants earn POINTS FOR ROUND 02 and 03 in this two-day event! 

 

Run Groups are as follows:

 

RG1: FJC, FJA/L, SS, AS, DS, ES, STR, EPL, X, T2

RG2: CSL, STUL, ESPL, ST, STX, CSP, SMF, AM, T1L

RG3: FS, GS, HS, STS, FSP, SM, SSM, XP, CP, EP, EM, F125, N, NST

RG4: CS, ST/L, STU. ASP, BSP, BSPV, DSP, ESP, OSP, SMFL, T1

 

• Run Group 1 works for group 3 and vise versa
• Run group 2 works for group 4 and vise versa
• 1.   Event will be held at Great America “Main Lot”, Santa Clara, CA, February 19/20, 2011.
• 2.   Welcome party at Event site Friday, February 18, 6pm - 9pm.  Dinner and refreshments provided.  Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
• 3.   Check-in and technical inspection at event site, 5pm-8pm Friday 2/18 and 7am-8am Saturday 2/19.  Note: Entry is by Pre-Registration only.  See Section B, below.
• 4.  Course will be open for walking Friday, 5pm - sundown, Saturday evening from the time Sunday’s course is completed until sundown,  Saturday and Sunday, 7am – 8:30am, and for 30 minutes at approximately midday during lunch break Saturday and Sunday.

 

 

 

• SCCA Membership is required.
• Divisionals are run like two normal SFR events but more structured and scored differently.
• Three runs per day, 2 seconds per cone.
• Only two drivers per car per class. Ladies classes may be run in separate run groups, TBD.
• 1-2 digit car numbers are first come first serve. Second driver number is yours +100.
• Atmosphere is more like a major motorsports event, you are part of it.
• Generally the best competitors from the Division enter so you can see how you measure up.
• There are two days of competition on two different but usually similar courses.
• All entrants pre-register and exact run groups are worked out in advance.
• Your car will have a designated spot on the grid, and will run in a pre-defined order.
• After your run group your car goes to IMPOUND so your competitiors can check it out.
• There are free car scales available to check your car weight, corner weights, etc
• Work assignments are figured out in advance.
• Course Workers log the exact identification of every cone hit, you can review them after the run group is posted.
• Your Divisional time is the best time from day 1 plus best time from day 2.
• Drivers from other regions could affect your points for SFR Rounds 02 and 03.
• SFR Special Classes (BSPV, OSP, T1, T2) will run as their own, not stuffed into National classes, and will be scored as such.
