Event requirements
This is the Governors Cup folks!
Three runs in the morning, then in the afternoon the top PAX drivers will compete in an elimination format that will see who is the alpha dog in the PAX department.
Will it be the odds on favorites such as Aaron "White Lightning" Rich the man that turns a subie into a rocket ship, or will it be AJ "Don't Step on my Blue Suede Shoes" Meade the self proclaimed CEO of Awesomeness and our current fastest time of the day monopolizer in his first stint as a cart driver? He came in 2nd on FTD last event and he's MAD!
Let's not forget about Tonya "Flying Tie Dye" Smith last years runner up but in a different car, or Scott Giles the man with no nickname because I couldn't think of one but he IS the defending champion. Or, could it be a dark horse no one would have ever thought of, and thus likely cheated to win or we would have heard of them? Heck, maybe Dan's Deli in the new truck with trailer class will stun everyone! Who knows? But the gauntlet has been laid, and it will be settled this Sunday at OSU International Speedway.
All I know is it's time for the trash talking to start. Get your alignment done, don your new tires, cut your hair and shave that beard to cut down on those last few ounces of weight that you will most definitely need. This is the one to win folks. Who will drink from the governors cup? Non-alcoholic beverage of course, because alcohol is not allowed at the event. If you were paying attention to the safety stewards instead of thinking about the track during the drivers meetings, you'd know that!
I look forward to seeing you all there.
