Come join your Motor City BMW CCA Chapter for a two-day high performance driving school at Grattan Raceway in Grand Rapids Michigan!
This is your chance to explore and hone your driving abilities on Grattan’s exciting and challenging track: considered to be one of the finest – and most entertaining courses in America with 2 miles of unique and challenging corners, a 3,200 foot straightaway, a 160 degree hairpin turn and a downhill reverse camber turn!
All drivers, young and not-so-young, experienced and novices are welcome.
Event requirements
Event requirements:
- All drivers must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.

All vehicles must be titled and have a valid automobile insurance policy at the time of the event.

All vehicles must pass a pre-school technical inspection performed by a Licensed Mechanic. This is to be completed by the student before the school. No onsite technical inspections will be performed.
- Snell SA2000, M00 or newer helmets are required for all participants.
- No vans, minivans, trucks, or other such vehicles are permitted.
- Your car must car have the same seats and restraints for both the driver and passenger. No exceptions!
- Open-top cars, such as t-tops and targas (with fixed A and B pillars) must meet BMW CCA National Standards. Convertibles (no fixed B pillar) must meet the BMW CCA Chapter Operations Manual, Section III, Appendix B, and must have arm restraints for both driver and passenger. All open-top cars are subject to instructor availability.
- A limited number of helmets are available for rental. Please indicate your interest on the next screen.
