Event Description
We'll be kicking off the SCR-SCCA Solo (autocross) season with an event at Freestyle Music Park in Myrtle Beach, then following it up with our 2009 Annual Awards Banquet. Anyone may participate in Solo, and anyone who has partcipated in a 2009-2010 SCR event is welcome to attend the Awards Banquet. Families are welcome too!
The Solo will last until roughly 5:00 PM, then we'll all head over to the Sea Mist Resort at 7:00 PM for a barbecue dinner.
Attendance at the Solo is NOT required to attend the banquet, and vice versa. You will have an opportunity to select the events for which you wish to register later, though we hope you'll plan on making it a weekend with us!
Also, on Sunday morning (Jan 17), we'll be holding our annual business meeting, and a series of seminars for our volunteers. If you're interested in helping SCR put on Solo, Time Trial, or Club Racing events in 2010, be sure to attend this!

Event requirements
NEW! - Membership Validation
- When you register, MotorsportReg will be verifying your SCCA membership status against the National Office's member database. If you do not have a valid membership, you must select the "Weekend Membership" option before you will be allowed to complete your registration.

Your First Name, Last Name, and Member Number in MotorsportReg must match what is on your SCCA Membership Card:
- You can check your MotorsportReg info by clicking the "My Account" tab, then "Edit Clubs" and editing the information under "SCCA - South Carolina Region - Solo"
- You can check your SCCA membership info (and edit how your name looks on your card) by logging on to ams.scca.com

Rules
- This event is held under the 2009 SCCA Solo Rules.
- Please review the 2009 SCR Solo Supplementary Rules for specific details on event conduct, car numbering requirements, special classes (Pro, Street Tire), and event procedures.
- All participants must sign an SCCA Release and Waiver form. Minors (under age 18) must have a Minor Release and Waiver form signed by at least one parent in order to be allowed on site, and signed by BOTH parents in order to participate.
Sound Control
- Sound limits WILL be enforced in 2010. Please read 2009 SCR Solo Supplementary Rules for procedures and guidelines on sound.
- Freestyle Music Park requires us to have a limit of 95 dBA, measured at 50 feet from the side of the car at speed. This is a requirement of our permit with the City of Myrtle Beach.
Cancellations
- Refunds will be issued for anyone who is unable to attend; however, there is a $5.00 cancellation fee. If you are willing to accept MotorsportReg.com credits for a future SCR Solo event, those will be issued for the full amount.
Number Format
- Only one- or two-digit numbers will be allowed (0 - 99). Where there are two drivers in one car, in one class, then the second driver will be 100 plus the first driver's number (i.e., 99 and 199). If desired, drivers of the same car but in different classes (i.e., open and ladies) may use the same car number.
