The IMVR series is a 4 race series open to all vintage racers with a current competition license. Our goal is clean, fun competition where racing and social interaction is more important than collecting trophies.
This series is based at Inde Motorsports Ranch and each race will utilize a different track configuration so that in a given year, no two races are the same. The role of the IMVR Series group is to promote the restoration, use and safe competition of all racing cars that are no longer being used in active amateur or professional competition. We have specifically designed our car classes to be inclusive of a wide range of manufacture years as well as states of tune. Underpinning this philosophy is the desire to be inclusive rather than exclusive in the field of vintage racing and to encourage new entrants and cars into the field of vintage racing.
Event requirements
You will need a vintage race car that is eligible per our rules, a recognized competition license or a novice permit from our companion driving school Raptor Motorsports, a good attitude and a willingness to have fun. Cars competing in the IMVR Series should be restored to and/or maintained in the configuration as they were raced in the year(s) of manufacture. In saying this we are in no way trying to promote a “rolling museum” but rather be inclusive by including race cars that are retired from active competition. Modifications and changes in the interest of safety, reliability and serviceability are permitted and encouraged. Your car will also be required to have a AMB transponder.
