Maximilian Motorsports and PNWR host the Drive for Dogs Tour and Gimmick Rally on Saturday June 23rd. Departing from the Auburn Supermall McDonalds at 9:00 am we’ll arrive in Chehalis at 11 for a late breakfast/lunch at Ramblin Jacks Rib Eye restaurant before starting the rally at noon. The entry fee is three cans of dog or cat food for the Lewis County Animal Shelter.
Maximilian Motorsports, specializing in repair, racing, restyling, and restoration of European makes such as Porsche, Ferrari, Rollers, and Lotus’, created the rally and will be the start/finish point.
A Gimmick Rally is designed to provide a scenic, relaxing and fun afternoon for everyone, including families. Following the route, gimmick “questions” will be fun, creative and provide just enough challenge for everyone. Your score is based on information you record on your score sheet, which shows how well you solved the puzzles and avoided being tricked. No speed or time is involved, other than a deadline to be at the finish location. Awards will be provided after the event! Rally teams may drive any vehicle, with a minimum of two participants per vehicle and a maximum dictated only by the number of seatbelts! If you don’t have a navigator and want to participate check the box “needs a navigator” when registering.
Driver meeting starts promptly at 9am, 1304 Supermall Way, Auburn WA. The rally will end in Chehalis around 4pm so everyone should be home in time for dinner
Event requirements
Tour Requirements:
- Cancellations and refunds: You may cancel your registration at anytime prior to the tour. For additional information, email the event chair at tours@pnwr.org.
- Car club membership: To participate you should be a member of the PCA and PNWR. Non-members may register and receive a special invitation on a case-by-case basis.
- Non-Porsches on the Tour: Unless the tour is specifically intended for a particular type of Porsche you may bring other makes of car to the tour. ...but why would you want to do that?

For Adult participants and attendees: Please print and sign the event waiver, and bring it with you to give to the tour organizer the day of the tour. All passengers and drivers need to sign.

- Age and driver's license restrictions: All drivers must be at least 16 years old and in possession of a valid US driver's license at the time of the Tour. A driving permit is not acceptable. For participants under 18 years old, the participant and his/her parents must sign an additional waiver and the participant must attend with at least one parent or legal guardian. - Registering for Passengers: Please make sure to include the names of any passengers riding with you in the space provided during registration. If you have two cars on the tour each car and driver should register with a separate Motorsportreg account.
