First Race a Success!

Sumas, Washington, November 12, 2010 – Sumas International Racing Academy (SIMA) has hosted their first of three Winter Series Races at the new karting facility. The first event on January 22 was a huge success, especially for the WWR Rental Race.  SIMA is looking forward to the upcoming events on February 26 and March 26. SIMA’s main goal for the series is to provide an environment which cultivates fun and competitiveness.

Part of having fun is winning free stuff! SIMA  signed five sponsors for the event, including Bridgestone as their primary series sponsor. Prizes from each sponsor will be given right back to the racers. To date the prize list includes: 15 sets of Bridgestone Tires, 12 sets of Douglas Wheels, 3 sets of Mariners tickets, 5 P1 Fitness programs and 18 cans of VP Fuel. All competitors who race in all three events of the series will have their name go into a draw to WIN one of TWO ITALKART chassis. Italkart Racing Karts is lending TWO CHASSIS (one junior and one senior) to compete in the 2011 North West Gold Cup Series.

For those of you without a kart and interested in getting in on the action, SIMA offers a RENAL KART RACE. For only $95, drivers will have two practice sessions, one pre-final event and one final event. Only limited space available!
