About this event
As the first 'warm-up' drive leading up to the October Socal Vintage BMW Meet in Woodley Park, we're having the Enduro Hike and Drive on Sunday, June 29th at 8AM. This is a very fun drive & hike on a scenic and winding loop through the Angeles Crest. We'll hike at Switzer Falls, and then come back to John Barlow's place for a bbq midday, featuring fabulous Tennessee bbq from John's neighbor Ray, better know as Bubba Q!
$5 donation for the bbq, but if you register for the October meet before the Enduro Drive the bbq is FREE! Plese see details on the meet on our other event page.
Parking in the Angeles Forest is $5 for the day pass, please go to http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/sanbernardino/ap/vendors.php so you can find a vendor close to you that sells the passes .....
We we see you bright and early at 8am to get things rolling. We'll start at John Barlow's place, which is at Leolang and Fenwick in Sunland:
click the "directions to" link on the upper left side and type in your location to get directions, he's a couple of miles east of the I-210 Sunland Blvd exit, so he's freeway close. Please drop a note if you have any questions. We want to get out as soon as, so please try to be there at 8 sharp. Happy and Safe Driving!
Event requirements
This event will be open to all cars, but we prefer you bring your E3, E9, 02’s, Neu Klasse, and so on. At least show up in something made by BMW, if possible!
