Spring Tour 2011: OBX & Bimmers
This year's spring tour will take place April 15-17. It will take us to the scenic and idyllic Outer Banks of North Carolina. We will begin our trek from Fredericksburg, Va. We will wind our way to lunch in historic Yorktown. After lunch, we will continue to the Hilton Garden Inn in Kitty Hawk, NC.
Once in OBX, you can hit the beach, go fishing off the pier owned by the hotel just outside the rear doors, pamper yourself with a spa treatment at The Sanderling (about 10 minutes north in Duck, NC), visit a lighthouse or partake in whatever activity you desire. And don't forget the photographic sunrises.
The group dinner will take place on Saturday. Lunch will be at Riverwalk Restaurant in Yorktown. Cost for both meals will be $80 per person
The tour will be a two day excursion. You can choose to leave on Friday or Saturday. In order to maximize our time at OBX and to get a head start on traffic we will depart at 8 a.m. Our start point will be from the Shoney's in Fredericksburg. We should arrive in OBX no later than 2 p.m.
So come on knock off the winter cob webs, don't forget your camera and join your fellow Bimmerheads along the coast.
