Audi Club Northwest Presents
2009 Portland Historic Races and Audi Car Corral
July 10th, 11th & 12th 2009
Baxter Auto Parts Portland Historic Races will feature International Motorsports Association (IMSA) Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) cars for 2009. The sleek, aerodynamic racecars will be part of a celebration of 40 years of IMSA. IMSA’s initial series in 1969 was Formula Vee and Formula Ford, so the Portland Historic Races invited Formula Fords from around the country to participate this year.
Local racecar champion Parker Johnstone of Wilsonville, who drives a 1988 Spice/Acura GTP/L, has been tapped as the race’s Grand Marshal.
Audi Club Northwest is hosting the Audi Car Corral. We are selling discounted tickets now for those drivers putting cars in the Corral. The car corrals feature prime event parking, dash plaque and a pace lap on the road course at lunchtime on Saturday and Sunday.
This is the ONLY way to get Audi Car Corral tickets!
