You have a unique and special opportunity to tour one of the most interesting car collections in the Pacific Northwest.  Your BMW CCA chapter has been invited by the Portland Mercedes Club to attend a private showing of Brown Maloney’s car collection in Sequim, WA.

If you attended (or heard stories about) the Portland Art Museum Allure of the Automobile Cars in the Park event last July, you know that Brown Maloney displayed his extremely rare and beautiful 1957 BMW 507 (only the second time displayed in 10 years).  The car attracted lots of attention from everyone who attended.  This is just one of many cool cars in his collection.  Rumor has it that he owns one of each body style of the Mercedes SL models, from a 1950’s Gull Wing Coupe up to the latest model.  He also has an extensive motorcycle collection.

The tour starts early in the morning of Saturday at 6:45, June 23^rd in Ridgefield, WA at Lava Java (109 S 65^th Avenue, Suite 108).  We will meet the Mercedes Club members and caravan up to Port Gamble, where more Mercedes members from Seattle will join us.  At the Maloney home, we will enjoy a catered BBQ lunch.  After lunch, he will give us an overview of how his collection started and expanded.  Touring Brown’s garages is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see many great cars in a private estate.
