Super Karts & Track Layouts!

Racing on Different Track Configurations!

Recreational Competition, A Great Time to Learn and Have Fun.
  • Cost - $70/event
  • Qualifying: 15 laps
  • Micro GP: 4 x 20-lap races

Once the NCC Winter Karting League competition series concludes in March, the Roundel Group begins a series of kart race meetings at Allsports Grand Prix every other Sunday for the rest of the year. These races are for fun rather than a points competition and are attended on an "as available" basis. Each Monday before a race, an email is sent out as a reminder to register at Motorsportreg.com if you would like to attend to following Sunday.

Would you like to be added to the Roundel email list? Contact Mike Saul

Roundel events are a great place for those new to karting to give it a try, gain experience, become familiar with the different track configurations and get some tips as to how to get the most out of the karts. For more experienced drivers it is an opportunity to do some competitive racing on a regular basis at a very reasonable cost. Not to mention, it's a great deal of fun for all.

All are welcome; come join us if you can.

START TIMES:  We will start at 2:30PM and we ask that you ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO OUR STARTING TIME to register, get suited up, attend a drivers' meeting, and be ready to race.

New Concepts:  This summer we plan to experiment with several concepts in attempt to increase passing.  Based on attendance, we may randomize or invert starting grids and varying race lengths.  We will continue to race on modified course layouts ranging from tight technical to flowing open, high-speed configurations.

NEWCOMERS WELCOME:  If you've never done this before, you should not be intimidated even if you have never before raced with us, or anywhere else. We see newcomers learn very quickly and come up to speed during the Roundel season to prepare for the Winter League. More details about the track, the karts, and the facility are at www.allsportsgp.com <http://www.allsportsgp.com> .

Event requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Only two! First, you need a valid driver's license. Second, you need a good attitude.  We'd do not limit Roundel Karting to BMW CCA member only. The Roundel events are fun and competitive, and we intend to keep it that way. It isn't a bumper-car ride at a county fair, and it isn't a feeder series for the RLL ALMS GT race team, but it is real racing competition. We will all follow the rules set by Allsports, show good sportsmanship, and respect our fellow racers.  Allsports has helmets, drivers suits, everything you need.  You can bring your own helmet and drivers suit if you like, but you can use Allsports' equipment at no additional charge.

SIGN-UP REQUIRED: Roundel events are typically held on Sunday afternoons. Drivers intending to participate should register at MotorsportReg.com by clicking continue below. This will give us and Allsports an idea of who is committed to show up.  Every Monday before a race the following Sunday an email will be sent out simply as a reminder of the upcoming race.  If you would like to be added to the email list, please contact Mike Saul
