Turner Field - 2nd Inning!
We have a date that has to be changed due to the Braves Post Season Game schedule and the Clear To Drift SWD event both happening on the 15th of October. We are shooting for the week before, October 8th 2011. The official date will be TBA ( to be announced ) until we have confirmation. This event will take place in October 2011. However we will be opening registration this weekend to get the ball rolling.
New for this event:
Due to the success of the first event, Driver cost will be lowered to $115.
For every 4 spectator ( crew ) tickets you buy online you will get $10 credit for the November event.
Run Groups will be the same size but runs will be 20 minutes each with 4 rotations.
Trash bags will be included in the drivers packets to keep the place tidy. Please take your trash with you if you can or put it by the Blue Trash Barrel closest to you before leaving.
Registration will open for this event Saturday Morning Sept 10th at exactly 9am. Don't snooze and loose.
Event requirements
Bring your own helmet. Minimum of DOT Rating (SA 2005 Preferred). Must have a valid Driver's liscense.
Driver Cap:
40 Drivers for Drift ( Tandem with cages, Fire suits not required)
Each driver is allowed to purchase CREW tickets for their helpers and friends to get into the pits and spectator areas.
Bring PLENTY of tires, Fluids for your car and yourself. Shade for your pit area and did I say PLENTY of tires.
All cars must pass tech inspection. You know the drill. All lugnuts present and tight, Battery secure and (+) terminal insulated. Seats and harnesses ( or stock seat belts ) Securly mounted. No open headers ( Cat or Muffler must be present). We have to keep peace with the neighbors.
Ride A Long policy = You can give your friends a ride if you like ( not during tandem ). There will be NO GENERAL PUBLIC RIDES.
